Promoting Tolerance.

I keep hearing how we should show tolerance and allow the mosque to be built near the site of the WTC. The media keeps telling me that not allowing this is just an example of my bigotry and intolerance.

Received this in an email this morning and had a good laugh. Then I started wondering if maybe we should allow the mosque to be built near ground zero. Then we could see who is just flapping their jaw and who really is willing to show tolerance.

PROMOTE TOLERANCE​

I am appalled that so many of my friends are against the mosque near Ground Zero. We should allow it in order to promote tolerance.

I also propose that two gay nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque to promote tolerance in the mosque. We could call them "The Turban Cowboy" and "You Mecca Me Hot".

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and have an open barbecue with pork ribs and across the street a very daring lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret."

And next door to that in flashing lights open an Adult Toy Shop. I think for the purpose of tolerance we should build accordingly around the Mosque.

Then we can see if tolerance works both ways.

I seldom disagree with you, but here I do. Putting this Mosque in this part of New York IS EXACTLY THE SAME as "the construction of a neo-nazi headquarters adjacent to a Jewish synagog..."

The PC police say we should be "tolerant" of the LEAST TOLERANT group of people on the planet. I don't agree. They aren't tolerant of us, of our lives, of our buildings, of our feelings, of our religions, of our country.

Why should we be tolerant of them again What are their redeeming qualities again My goodness, this is comedy central. A place to chuckle at the absurdity of certain aspects of world society.

On the other hand, to keep the Jews from being offended, maybe we should make a big old concentration camp and herd the Islamic terrorists and the Nazis into them --- arming both to the teeth and telling each that the other is in charge of the camp . . . and let them fight it out.

To show our tolerance and as a gesture of peace, maybe someone should walk up quickly and place a suitcase, box or package in the Mosque (of I mean after it opens) and run-a-way. Inside should be some sort of ticking time piece , some ladyfinger firecrackers (the kind with 2 strings, you pull them and it blows) attached to the lid and a note stating "Welcome to the neighborhood and we wanted you to feel at home"

And since the KKK is the ultimate All-American boys club, maybe have them parade in front of the Mosque wearing vests with white strings dangling between red sticks (or road flares)...and maybe wear some checkered tablecloths instead of the typical white sheets...
