Proof spring is coming ???

My neighbors must be thinking about corn planting. Although the 14" of snow we got today makes me think they should forget it for awhile. By the way, we were in the 3-5" forecast range. If we get much more here in central Pa, I may need to use my detector to find their tractor!!!

It reached 19 degrees here today, a big warm up and 40 degree is predicted for later in the week. People are out without gloves or hats and with coats unbuttoned. Many have been out this past week and cleaned there roofs off before the coming thaw creates ice dams. Just as many have been out chopping the compacted snow and ice from driveways that has accumulated throughout the weeks of subzero weather. It may be hopeful thinking but we are definitely getting ready for Spring.

Yes i was born & raised there on the Center & Clearfield county lines Philipsburg Clearfield area…You were south central i was almost right in the central part..
