This afternoon was cold, and the weather man say's in the coming day's it's going to get well below freezing. These are the best of this afternoons finds. A small, Roman copper coin, a broken hammered of I would say Henry VIII, a late medieval copper jetton. Also an as yet unidentified worn milled silver coin, and a tube shaped lead weight. None will win any beauty contests :laughing7:, still interesting though. Robert.

I'd say you had a pretty good hunt, ah but the beauty of it is you got them in your pouch. Congrats.

Very nice hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so they say. Robert.

Well even though they're a tad beaten, there's still a load of beauty.

Nice finds! Its great when you can add a little history in the mix.

Just a heads up, on this side of the pond, we've had one wave of winter just go over and another due to leave our shores this coming Friday.

I would die if I found something like any of those and if I didn't, my grin would give me away

Love those oldies, you did very well. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Rob , if u would like to identifie the jetton (if u didnt already) please post a pic from the other side. Could be its a german one from Nürnberg.

Nice finds but maybe the Romans came in peace! :laughing9:

Is it normal in your area just to find 1 sole Roman Coin? Its very uncommon here.

Hello Cru, yes this field usually produces, a few roman coins, every year. And they tend to come up, one or two at a time. Robert.
