Detector(s) used
EXPLORER SE and an ACE 250
Took a trip with my wife (she had army duty) from WI to RI. Last time I was there was over 2 years ago. I went back to the same park (Roger Williams) I did very well in 2 years ago only to find it has become a receptacle for all the Corona and wine drinkers as well as the needle using junkies in the neighbor hood. Where I wanted to detect was difficult at best. I moved to a lesser used part of the park and found 2 indians, 1895 and 1900, 27 wheats, no silver and over $6 in clad dimes and quarters. The park is absolutely beautiful. It is supposedly 200 years old and covers hundreds of acres. Sorry no pictures but I am in the airport on my way home.

I will be detecting up in Canada (Saskatchuen) sp? for 10 days in Oct. Actually, I am going bird hunting but will detect for about 1 hour every day.

I've hunted Roger Williams park many times over the years, and yes in some spots it's a party place beer caps, needles, broken glass, etc.I even found a homeless camp in a wooded part of the park. You still had a good hunt, that park has given up the silver lots of times for me.HH

Funny my wife is from milwaukee and we live the park almost maybe a 150 yds down the rd. I think I think I SAW YOU OUT THERE LAST WEEK BY THE LITTLE YELLOW BRIDGE/BUILDING IS .I do very well down there ,my last outing was a small pocket spill from the 50"s 6 mercs 11 wheats and a buffalo. N ext time I'll stop.Nice job.
