Not exactly sure what your asking here? Are you asking if you can CRH in Puerto Rico? Or if anybody who does CRH there if they find anything?

I'm sure you can find something there CRH. I'd try CRH if I was there at least once and test the waters.

good enough, being an Island, I would think that there is a captive market, with not too many new coins coming in...will let you know, taking missus next monday for a week in the sun and sand

I know the feeling. When I lived in St. Thomas and would ask for half dollars at the bank, they looked at me like I had three heads, haha. One teller asked me, "You mean like a ripped dollar?" Haha

Come on, I was told by a couple of Puerto Ricans that they started use US money in 1920s or earlier. Try a few more banks!

Don't know the right word in spanish. I think it's moneda. Means change or coins...if I have the right word. Ask for coins. Look for old stuff. Found my avatar in Baja. Got it as change at the local mercado.

I have been here for almost 10 years and have yet to see a half dollar , on a rare occasion a wheat penny.
