My fourth time hitting this school...4 hours of detecting up to this point and only a handful of wheat pennies and some clad dimes to show for it. Shortly after starting, I pulled a 1963 silver dime--only buried one inch. OK so I'm not going crazy after all
. I knew the school was from at least the 1950s...and kids play in the playground and lose dimes, right
? And as you can see in the pictures, the soil had been churned up recently so I was hopeful something would turn up
.
I pulled the 1959 out of the last hole I dug as I was walking to the car--multiple silver coins in one day--yippee!
--only the third time that's happened in 7 years of detecting.....13 1/2 months between silver coins
. Nice to see the AT-Pro--after several years--can still pull a silver dime
. Happy hunting out there.

If you look closely, in some of the pics you can see the soil has been churned up
