🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Pulling Bar?

Any idea what the heck this thing is? Only guess I have is a pulling bar for some kind of cart/wagon.

Seems to be iron. About a foot wide at the bottom and a foot at a half from to to bottom.

There is a makers mark (letters) on the left hand side of the crossbar. Can anyone make them out?
