Punched cent identification

Just pulled this one outta my last bag, its deliberately punched, but trying to figure out what the design is:


Also found this beauty, not sure if its a "healed" scratch, or possibly a crack:

Looks like PMD, some type of scrape coming down from the eye across the face, then depositing the hot metal scrape over the Y.

I think the figure on the right could be a patriot holding a rifle.
No theory for the other.
