What Metal Detectors would you recommend for me?

Salt Water Detecting, Near Beaches, Coast lines, Pacific Ocean, and also Rivers/Streams.

Forest/War Sites/Relics and War memorabilia.

Gold ore deposits, Volcanic areas.

Thank's and feel free to suggest more than one Detector!

Ps: Price is not an issue but don't make it too high and please suggest the best ones only.

Found one that can do it all nevermind.

Honey, if you found one that can do all of that you HAVE to share!!!!!! :headbang:

If they found one that could "do it all" (for those they listed), then sure: there are cross-over nugget/prospecting/coin/jewelry/beach/relic machines. But BE ASSURED it will only be Half-#ss in each category. Gauranteed. They will get their behind spanked if they want to excell in any of those arenas.

Anytime manufacturers make cross-over machines, there are necessary compromises. Because the goals of each of those venues are often opposed. For example: The nugget hunter wants the "bells of notre dame to ring" at each pinhead, staple, birdshot, etc... Right ? (so they can hear the pinhead nuggets!). But the coin/relic hunter DOESN'T want to be bothered by each nail, staple, pushpin, birdshot, etc... Doh!

Maybe you found it, maybe you didn't. A number of machines have a salt water mode, for example, but in reality they will get all chattery and unstable if you try to use them there. One that does seem to be able to do it all is a CTX 3030, however this a machine on the heavier side, too heavy for some of us women. Want to tell us what you chosE?

The sov GT is a great detector for mineralized areas. I use mine on the SC beaches and it does a great job. You might also want to look at a Garret ATX. It's a PI machine and I've heard good things about it. Good luck !

The CTX 3030 for everything EXCEPT the gold prospecting. For that the GPX 4500 is what you need. You will covered in all areas possible except scuba diving then just add an Excalibur ll and you will be set.
