has anyone used or heard of the Pyle PMD64 waterproof and submergible pinpointer, there is one on ebay new discounted 45% for $49.50, i would like to know if it is worth it, i can't find any reviews on it, thanks for any help.

Read the description again. It doesn't say it's waterproof, it says the tip is "submergible".

Is it any good, regardless? I don't want to spend the $$ on a Garrett, but don't need the performance of a Garrett either. I just wouldn't want to spend money on a pinpointer that will only go-off when touching a piece of metal.
