Set a camera in the yard hoping for baby quail. Haven't seen any little ones yet this year but plenty of adults. Disabled the camera today and plan to wait until we see some babies before setting up the camera again.

Wow Ron Those are some amazing pictures of quail I really am stunned by the markings on the second pic I am looking forward to the pictures of the young ones.

Great shots Ron, the male has some nice ring markings.

Out west I saw Quails, and their clutch. Fun to watch them following like a train.

We used to see Bob White quail all the time when I was growing up, but now a days none.

It’s the same around here. Loss of habitat. But we’re trying to help, leaving some habitat for them. We’ve got two coveys on the property now, where we started with only seeing two birds several years ago.

Sadly the whistle of the bob white quail has become a thing of the past And along with it went the chackle of the ring neck pheasant And no mater how much habitat they plow up in the in the name of making more profit we are all poorer because of it
