Never been happy with the Prizm and standard coil. So I bought an MXT.
It appears that many Prizm owners have purchased the new mini DD coil and declare that it is the magic bullet that was needed to make this machine do what it does best...coins/jewelry.
OK, I'm a quasi gun collector meaning that my wife is fairly reasonable except I don't think this extends to metal detectors. But I would like to keep a backup to the MXT for obvious reasons.
The mini DD coil is gonna cost about $130 bucks maybe a little more. I can get a new ACE 250 for about 200.
So my question is this. Am I going to gain anything by getting the DD coil or better off to sell it and just buy a new ACE 250?
