I am starting this thread to post my results from CRH on a quarterly basis. I am reposting the results from a previous post called 1Q CRH results and will add the new results quarterly. I figured the title on the original post would get outdated pretty quickly. Sorry to repeat, but I don't know how to change the title of a post once it has been submitted.
So this is the repeat of the post from Q1 2022
Q1 2022 results
Found a total of 9.22oz of silver. This includes 3 FDR dimes and a 1964 quarter found in coinstar machines
Nickels: Searched $1,024 (20,480 coins). 14 war nickels, 3 buffaloes (1 was dateless - not in pic, 1 1935, and the other one in the pic is nearly dateless but I think it is a 1915. Also found a 1939S. Between the WW2 and buffaloes, I averaged one coin for every $51.20 searched
Dimes: Searched $5,575 (55,750 coins) and found 40 silvers - 32 FDR (incl. the 3 from coinstar), 7 mercs, and 1 Canadian 80% silver (1951). Highlights: on 3/7 found 14 silvers (11FDR and 3 mercs) in a single CWR, and on 3/13 a single CWR had 3 FDRs. Averaged one silver for every $139 searched (0.0717%). I prefer CWR in in dimes and most places that know I search only save me CWR.
Quarters: Searched $300 and found nothing in the rolls (only the 1 from the coinstar)
Halves: Searched $283 (566 coins) and found 29 40%, 1 1964 JFK and 2 Walkers. Averaged 1 silver for every $8.84 searched (5.65%). Breaking this down further:
CWR: searched $200: found 15 40% and the 1964 90% (1 silver per $12.50 - 4%)
MWR: searched $20 and found nothing (I never find anything in these)
Loose from tellers: searched $63 and found 14 40% and the 2 Walkers (1 per $3.94 - 12.7%)
Highlights: in February at a Bank of America the teller had $1 in halves and they were the 2 Walkers. On 3/31, out of $6 that the teller had, $5.50 were 40% ($5 were 1969D and 1 1967).
Thanks for looking and HH. It is still out there - nothing more than being in the right place at the right time.
This is the Q2 results, as well as some halves I found on 7/2/2022
