Since this is a "GOLD" forum, most of us call it a Leaverite. It could be quartz, and might have a value of your size coin. You might want to ask about it here: Rocks/Gems . If you're a rockhound as well as a prospector, you could considerpolishing the stone, then the value could increase.
 

It's water tumbled or just highly eroded quartz...Sorry
 

Hardness test.....easy to tell once you do one of those

where we are Weber creek is not generic:headbang:....if you dig for gold you know all about it..

many diamonds have been found in the area
