Spot is now $5.20 for a quarter. Always ask them what they want before you put a price out there. His offer may be lower than what you were willing to pay.

Made a offer of 4$ each. waiting

If you get them for $4, you will have a big score! Hope it works out.

I personally always let the seller open the negotiations if at all possible and then haggle if necessary. Why pay 16X face if 10X will buy them?

I bought 4 rolls of silver quarters a few months back when silver was ~$32 for 14.5X face, which was his asking price. Probably could have gotten them a bit cheaper as after the deal was complete he confided in me that he had taken them to "a few places" and the best offer he received was 8X face.

I hope you find a '32 D or S.

Whoever speaks first loses.

Let him open the bid.

If its a 'kid' make sure they are legal. there has been a horrible spree of kids breaking into people's houses, stealing coin and taking them to the nearest coinstars, and stealing parents/grandparents silver stashes. we have caught so far in the past year 8 groups of kids doing this thing.

Sincerely, Garoulady
