Question about avatars

I was wondering if i wanted to use a gif. (one with movement) as my avatar...what do i need to cut and paste and where in my profile do i paste it for it to work properly?...i can not figure it out . lol


and the one i want to use is in photobucket..if that matters

If you cut and past the thinggy (the address or location) from photobucket to the avatar box, I think it'll work.

Animated gifs won't work unless they're small enough. I used Gifworks to resize the width to 100, then it'll work as an avatar.

OK..I just checked out photobucket. Don't resize it there...it will no longer be an animation.

The image must be less then or equal to 112 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall.
I believe (and I have not tested this) that you are just limited by the standard posting limit of 356KB
If you want to resize the image without corrupting the animation, here is the site I use to do it, its free.
