Question about blunts.

I’ve got these two that when I found them, I thought they were just broke points that were resharpened. I’m spending some quality time with my collection tonight and got to looking at these. Do you think my first assumption about them being reworked brokes is correct, or were they fashioned like this on purpose. These are obviously different material, “broken” in the same exact way, and from different sites. Thanks

Without being able to see the ends, they could be hafted scrapers, or they could be strike-a-lights.

They might not have been broken (as in snapped in half), they may have simply been resharpened to that degree a few flakes at a time.

Prob no way to know for sure I would think knives that broke and rather than discard they reworked them into scrapers as they may have already been attached to a handle
