Question about Charlotte County Florida

It looks like I may be moving to Charlotte County Florida later this year from Indiana. Was wondering if there was anyone on here from that area and if anyone had info on what rules/laws there were about detecting parks/beaches in that County? Or anything in Counties North or South of there?

Lived there for years. Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Pine island, Ft Myers..... No one ever bothered me anywhere. Go for it.
