Question about the Peace River (FL)

Hello,

I'm planning a kayaking trip up the peace river to search for fossils. I was wondering if anyone had some information of areas that are very productive. I know to search in the bends of the river when the water is low, but I've got a weeks vacation at the end of July. With all of the recent rains, I'm wondering how fruitful my excursion will be.

Sweet tooth! On the Peace the further away from the put in spots you can get the better. start upstream as far as you can get and hit the bends and any gravelly areas you can find.
