Question for our Austrailian Friends

Mary and I are planning a Viking Cruise around Australia and New Zealand for January/February 2021. I have a choice of dates in January and February. My question: which month might be better weather wise ...if there is a difference... and which month would see the least amount of tourist traffic. I live close to Orlando's Disney World and like to avoid large tourist crowds whenever possible!

Any insight would be very much appreciated.
