Question

Why should Coinstar machines reject silver coins? Are they not the proper size and weight? Guess that's two questions. Thanks

silver weighs more---- for dime, qtr, half & large dollars. all nics are 5 grams. IH, wheat & copper Linc are 3.1 gr., but some will get kicked. rotting zincs will also get the boot. nuttin' like a 1909-S wheat in the "I hate you" tray

plenty of rejects are a free gift of sumthin' good

I love it when folks take grandpa's old coin jar to the coin star in a rush and forget to check the tray.
