Hello everyone,

Im getting ready to head back out to the American, Yuba and Feather river drainages late next month and haven't been up that way in 20 years. So if anyone is familiar with that neck of the woods some intel would really help.

First off Im doing this trip with a 170" wheel base MB Sprinter van. It has great high clearance but it is 10'2" tall (tree issues) and a 4' tail overhang (the biggest issue). Is there any unclaimed area's I can get to with this rig. I have been down more dirt roads with this than most jeep owners and am very crafty on getting past obstacles but that 4" overhang stops the show most of the time when it gets to be real 4x4 time.

Also when I did this 20 years ago the break in's along a lot of the spots you would leave your truck to hike in at where getting tons of break ins.... Is this still the case up in the Motherload areas?

Kindly,
Jason
