I have used Minelab Sovereigns and Explorers for many years.I currently have the SE Pro.I downloaded the E-Trac manual and think I see that they have expanded the
digital ferrous and conductivity numbers.Has anyone tried this in their test garden and seen if you can tell the difference between a clad quarter and a silver quarter?
Also on dimes,Halves and dollars.I know on my SE Pro, a clad quarter falls in at 00 ferrous and 29 cond.A silver dime falls in around 03 ferrous 29 cond.A clad dime falls in about the same range most of the time.Sometimes it reads 03 ferrous 28 cond.A silver dollar reads 00 ferrous and 25 cond.Did Minelab get this feature straightened out.I guess the bottom line question is there a noticeable difference between clad and silver coins. Thanks to all.
