quick 1 hour hunt = 1943 "p" silver war nickel
Stopped at my favorite silver spot, on my way home from work this AM. found most of the clad in a small area about 2 foot by 2 foot, all about 4 inches down, seemed to have wooden saw chips stuck to them. every seen at a fair where they hide coins in saw dust and let the kids dig through to find the coins ? I think this must have been the case. also found a 1937 wheat, and a 1943 "p" war nickel ,picture says 1942 but its a "43", not great finds but a very great way to spend an hour relaxing after working all night. ( i guess i cant spell SILVER ) see pic. checked my coin book they made a 1943 with a 3 over 2, and also a "double eye" but i cant really tell if its either i guess i should have it checked out
? any suggestions?
