quick 2 hr hunt. Gold?

Went for a quick 2 hr hunt at a park down the road. Managed to remove $3.66 in clad, 2 buttons, and a nice ladies watch.

It's a pulsar and I really doubt it is gold. maybe plated but definately not solid. it was 4" down in really moist soil and it is not working at this time The way I took the picture is the way it came out of the ground I had not cleaned it yet just wiped the dirt off. Strangely enough though when I found it the time the watch had stopped was the time of day I found it so at first I thought it was working.
