Quick hour hunt in 50 degree January weather!

Nothing spectacular, but not that bad either. The buckle relic is pretty cool... looks turn of the century to me(?). Otherwise, wheaties were 1944, 20, 40, and 42. What we thought was an aluminum token turned out to be a 50 Mark 1935 German Deutsch Reich coin. Unexpected find without a doubt! The back is totally toast. Still, we'll take our finds today with pride. Like I said, about an hour poking around before the rain started adn we were losing light.

Sounds like a successful hunt any time I find a foreign coin they always look like some ancient old coin Its going to be in the 40s or 50s this weekend so finally I can get out too Thanks for the post!!!

Great finds. I will wait until April in May when it gets warm in Connecticut to purchase a new Fisher 75.
