That's a "crossed cannons" military insigna pendant which designates the "artillery" branch of the US Army.

So how old we talking

nice finds congrats HH

The Indians are 1885 and 1890 and another that's 1881

My first thought on dart thingy would be a wood burner

I was gonna say Spanish American War era 1890 to ? but I don't think they had artillery back then as we know it, but I could be wrong.

Sweet I can dig that for sure

I don't think its a wood burner

Dart thing, could it be a lawn jart. Deadly toy that got pulled off market because it could pierce someone's skull.

Yep I remember those things the toys we had as kids I remember manhunt with BB guns and the good ole 3 PUMP RULE hahaha

awesome finds!, so i gotta ask because there are a ton of them around me.....are foreclosures that are bank owned ok to detect on? I know that in the case of a bank owned foreclosure the previous owner is out of the picture and the banks that own them are usually almost uncontactable, has anyone ever just detected a foreclosure w/o asking?

There is an 1830 house 5 minutes from my house that's been foreclosed for a couple years now. I'd LOVE to hunt on it but I'm too scared. It's a great find too because it's the only house older than 1900 in my city I think.

The way I see it is the banks screwed a lot of people with those stupid loans that should have put someone in jail!! Just fill your holes.... I have a friend who does upkeep on foreclosures for about 10 banks, so he tells me when there's an old one and gives me permission after they mow!!! If I where u I'd hunt that farm house! If its a real fire lusher there will be info on the door!!!

The dart thing makes me think it is a spring loaded center punch not sure though. Are those threads in the middle pic or the remnants of a spring?

It's not a center punch I really can't figure it out I just can't come to a solid conclusion

I think I figured out the dart thingy it might be to an old stereo like the A/V jacks on t.v.'s today some of those were pretty hefty not sure though.
