I was able to squeeze in a quick hunt after work this evening before the rain started. I found the Mercury dime within the first 5 minutes of hunting which is usually the kiss of death. I found the large cent about 15 minutes into the hunt about 20 yards away from the Mercury dime.

The dime is in great shape, the large cent not so much. I couldn’t get a date off of the old girl, just like back in high school [emoji6]

I think the LC is an 1804 secondstar. My opinion, though.

Imagine what you would have done with a slow hunt!! Great job.

Sometimes the short hunts are the best. Congrats!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I'd take a kiss of death anyday over being skunked. Nice finds though!

Not bad for a quick hunt theres been many times where I've found silver and that's enough to keep me swinging in the rain lol I like the lC I'm still looking for my first. Well done. Tommy

Good finds on a short hunt and your batting average goes way up...:laughing7:

If it were an 1804, the bust would be facing right. Hard to say on the date, most of mine come out of the ground looking like that too.

You the Largieman this week Mike. But I know you like them a little older :laughing7:
