R&SCONY ?

I was going through my junk finds bucket and noticed this had some writing on it.
I scrubbed off some white corrosion and dirt and saw it says "R&SCONY" or "R&SCO NY"
on one side, there seems to be a space between the O and the NY. On the other side it
says "P1913" it seems very lite for its size maybe aluminum and a magnet wont stick to it.
Its a rainy day and nothing to do!

Joe

Re: R&SCONY ?

Rascony, just a guess I haven't followed up on, but could it be part of a chain link fence post clamp? (or just a pole clamp that held anything)

I am going to take a wild guess here, was there ever a rail road near where you found this? if so maybe the tram car distrubting part is it.
