The farm fields I was hoping would produce today did not....at all.... but I did find an old foundation on the grounds that produced this button within the first 5 minutes. Lots and lots of iron in there so I am going back tomorrow morning to see if anything else will pop up. This is on private property behind locked gates and to my knowledge (and the owners') it has never been MD'd before so I've got to believe there's more there.

From a back-mark book I have it say's the Back-Mark "R. & W. Robinson" dates to 1836-1848

That's a beautiful button , it will look so sweet in a nice display case !!!

I don't have a book reference and got my info from another thread on this site. The back mark says "Robinsons * Extra *" Is that a different production date?
