That's a New one for Me. I Didn't thing Birds could Transmit Rabies.
I Wonder if it was an Early Misdiagnoses.

The morning call.

Interesting. I agree with you - didn't think birds could get rabies. So...

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention "...Birds, snakes, and fish are not mammals, so they can´t get rabies and they can´t give it to you..."

Indiana State Board of Animal Health "...Other animals, such as birds, chickens, snakes, fish, turtles, lizards and insects, never get rabies...."

New York Department of Health "...Reptiles (such as lizards and snakes), amphibians (like frogs), birds, fish and insects do not get or carry rabies...."

And on and on..
.

Some of those geese are freakin mean lol

Poor woman having to deal with doctors who should know better, but hey, it's another paying customer...

Yep I Bet she went through the worst Type of Cure, For Nothing but Fear.

I wonder if she Survived

Jeff, I've had my shots in the tummy, you can get it by the animal mere licking you, but once developed,so far there is no cure.

That was What I always Believed.
But as I Said above I Have read that Only those who Fear Rabies & Know they were in contact,
actually can Get it.
Those who are Ignorant of The Fact they were in Contact with a Rabid Animal
May Not :dontknow: Unfortunately it's not something you can test for sure :coffee2:
