Radio and Solar panel

Does anyone know if there is anything in a solar panel? Also, I have a radio out of a truck probably from the 70s or 80s. I opened it up and it has a lot of capacitors and wires etc. This wouldn't have mercury switches would it? I saw something that looked a little iffy. Thanks!

If you know what make and year of truck the radio came out of it might be worth a lot more on Ebay. Some are selling in the $50.00 - $100.00 range.

It came out of a 1965 chevy truck, but it was not original. My best guess is that it came from the 70s or 80s. It had some problems, and wouldn't work right, so I decided to scrap it.
