Anyone tried the Radioactive Brand Headphones from Brazil on the Manticore.

Sorry never used but did look up. One thing about beach headphones around water... in time there will be issues. Me, I make my own and If I were in the market to buy some I would go Tony Eisenhower, he's very good about warranty and repairing his older sets that are several years old. And he does offer a upgraded set with super large 65mm piezos which is the limit on how big you can go. The one common denominator that all Water proof production head phones have is Piezo's buzzers for the audio.

A few years ago there was a set made by a guy in Florida that seemed to be different and they were. But he was a thief from what I heard and several lost money when he closed shop and never returned money on orders. He used piezo speakers which I have tried and they are loud and clear but very tinny sounding. Interesting they also sell the piezo speakers for warning alarms.

His work was lacking also, a set I was to repair for a friend..

I picked up a few for testing.. and too repair my friends Hp's

And regular piezos

I've got Tony's headphones on my CTX and a Excal. They're loud and comfortable. You have to let him know what arm you swing with.

I have a custom pair of Tony Eisenhower's blue large cup diver's (waterproof) headphones with enhanced impedance matched circuitry for my Dual Field PI. I wanted to have very quiet headphones with excellent noise attenuation along with being as loud as possible. The combination of quiet phones combined with loud tones helps me hear whisper targets at the beach, threshold nulls, and helps block out all the beach noise we typically encounter. And, these headphones are VERY comfortable. His headband is split at the top into 2 bands, so they're split and you have two bands spread out over the top of your head. I've worn them for hours at the beach and always seem to forget I'm wearing them. Highly recommended.
