Found this in the woods near where an old Railroad track used to run. The railroad was built in 1888 and was there until 1963. I think it is probably a railroad wrench, but I've looked on the web and never seen one exactly like it, but I have seen a lot that were similar. Any ideas on age, and what type of wrench?

It looks like a farm tractor or implement wrench to me.

I have owned numerous International Harvester implement wrenches that look very much like the example that you have.

I never thought of that..... There was an old farm on the other side of the hill from where the railroad was. I just assumed it was a railroad wrench because I found it so close to where the railroad was, and everything else I've found in that area has been associated with the railroad. Thanks for the help!

Very cool!!!!

Okay, I am NOT an expert, but I think it is an International Harvester wrench. They made hundreds of different wrenches, and through the years, they bought other implement companies, who also made tools for their equipment. If IH kept that company's line up of plows, let's say, they started transitioning the wrenches and their subsequent marking to have the IH name, logo or number.

You might try to find P & O plow wrenches. McCormick Deering, which later became IH, bought P & O....and I think that is a P & O wrench.
