Xterra 70 6" 7.5khz concentric 9" 7.5Khz concentric, 5x10 18.75Khz DD, 10.5 18.75Khz DD.
A little humor here.
I checked the weather and suppose to start raining and last all day.
Oh I’ve got a NOX now and it’s waterproof, last Detector wasn’t.
80* so a wide brim Gortex rain hat and rain jacket and shorts ,sandals..
Ground is softer and absolutely know-one to bother you.
I used wired MW 08 in my back pocket with wired earbuds.
Also if on a beach you have the whole beach to yourself.
People look at you being nuts but I’m having a good time and their not!
It just made it a really nice day , and from now on I now will go instead of watching it rain and drinking another cup of coffee.
So don’t let the weather bother you ( except lightning).

you’re Friend;
Doug

Watch out for that lightning !

Yep, that's definitely one of the nice things about the Equinox. Some rain doesn't send you running for cover, to protect your detector!

back in 84 i bought the first AT3 garrett and it was a great machine , i can't tell you how many times i had to take my muddy pants off to drive home and your right NOBODY bothers you when it's raining . that little AT3 found more gold for me and had a vocabulary second to none, I still have the AT and would still use it if the plastic box didn't crack and break. I wonder if the new AT's are as good as the first one

I made a protective case for my ACE 250 out of a waterproof case so that I could use it water hunting in knee to waist deep water. the Nox is so much better!

A plastic bag with some common sense and any detector is good to go for a rain hunt.
