Looks like a rams head to me. Anyone know what this is? I found it next to a cellar hole in Western Massachusetts with my MX Sport. Thanks for the help

As I'm trying to think what that might be my thoughts are the kind of fixtures you might see on an old coffin. Looks like cast iron that had nickel plating. Probably some kind of witchcraft behind it
