Found this chrome ram ornament today I thought it might be a Dodge ram ornament. Cannot find no match. Bottom hole is threaded.

Car hood ornament circa 1958-1978?

Not a Dodge Ram or Chevrolet Impala hood ornament that I know of.

Could it be an aftermarket hood ornament, like JC Whitney, use to sale? Maybe or maybe not, the scroll work supporting the animal tells me no.

Thinking something decorative on a piece of furniture or gate.

Looks like a figure that would have been incorporated with a wrought iron-type fence.

The metal is non-magnetic. I think it's pot metal? The ornament is made from a mold. I think it would be the wrong metal used for a fireplace poker?

I think you'er right Retired Sarge. I cannot find the exact ornament but I think it's a cheap aftermarket ornament that could have been used for anything. The example I found as the same type of attachment using a threaded bolt. I'll put this down as solved.
