Not a ram rod end. Possibly the remains of an old school tire valve stem.

It looks like a reducer for plumbing although it is small. Possibly from an Icebox or a HVAC unit. Is it copper?

Is it hollow all the way through, or does it have a solid end. It doesn't look like a ramrod tip to me either, but, and there's always a but, ramrod tips were usually pinned to the wood shaft. Is there any indication that there has been a pin through it.
