If I remember right, Mt Ranier is about 40-ish miles away from Seattle/Tacoma........ But on a clear day it looks like you could just hike on over to it

I miss that part of our country - haven't been out there since about '96

Not sure what the flower is called. They only bloom for a short time to let you know spring is truely here.

yup thats Ranier. Bit more than 40 miles though. But when the air is clear is awesome.
