Yeah it was shelled by union gunboats. Only 3 known found in this area.

Very cool fragment, just read up on the piece from this link. To think only 100 were produced is really a low number.

Thats good if he gets excited! You're really lucky to live in such a historic area. We had a really good time down there, Addam was a great host & very knowledgeable. I think I'll have a couple of trips between 2 clubs planned at the beginning of the year.

It was a signal about the size of the hood of a car and as soon as I put my shovel in the ground I heard crunch and I pulled that out. It was so cool!
