I obtained permission to hunt a near by battle feild on private land earlier this week and the weather is calling for cold and nasty tomorrow so after I got the guys off to work this morning, I went and picked up Damnails and we headed for it.
We know that this place has been hunted hard for years but they are clearing the land with a dozer so our hopes were high. I found a fired Gardner bullet, some round balls, and lead. Also found a leather rivet and some Cannonball fragments. Also found what I think is a fuse. Damnails found frags, round balls and a fuse.
The fragments and fuse are a first for both of us. I'm going to post the fuses in what is it for positive ID and any info. Thanks for looking!
