Rare Mocha Ware From Pieces to Bowls!

Here are some early 1800-1850 Mocha Ware Bowls that I have found in privies in downtown Charleston, SC.

Brought back to life from a pile of fragments to almost complete bowls. Whole ones are RARE, just look how pricey they are on ebay!

Very nice work!! I know how rewarding it can be to piece an old bowl or plate back from fragments!
 
Oh wow! I LOVE mocha ware! Saw a video of reproductions being made using the same original techniques - it was amazing!

Those are great! I love putting together Crocks and other Earthenware from out of privies myself. Congrats that you were able to find most of the pieces too..I know that we run into that problem many times as the original reason that they were thrown away in the first place. :icon_thumleft: :wink:
