Rare or no?

Pick this up from my local GW.
Looked older. So I thought I’d give it a shot, especially for $2. Figures I couldn’t lose, even though I don’t know much about vase stands

I'd give 2 bucks for it. Think you did OK. My wife would have given 20.

Rare no. Practical yes. Look for better carving which is indicative of older pieces.

Would make it a coffee cup stand so not to stain the table with coffee rings. HH

Those little wooden stands would very often accommodate some type of Asian vase or rock carving.
