Rattlesnake patriot button

I had this button posted since July 4th weekend in the identification forum. First of all, I want to thank the all the folks that identified it for me. I found this button in central kentucky at a late 1700's home. Prior to finding the button, I had found a 2 cent piece and several other old coins. When I first dug it up, I thought it was an oriental pin at first glance. After I cleaned some of the dirt off, I realized it was a snake. Very ironic indeed that i found it the weekend of our nation's birthday. Definetly my best find!
