Saw pic. Check with Rolex and Police for original owner if you want to return it or check and see if it was stolen. Or just ware on your wrist. My guess is since you had it appraised there is a record of you having it now. That's how it works with serial numbered watches.

Maybe a little more of the story would help.
I lived in Boca Raton for 3 years long ago. Bet the beach has changed a lot. There used to be blow holes in the rocks to the right a little ways down the beach.
