I had an hour today to sneak out to the site where I found the 1844 LC and 1865 3 cent nickel. Decided to just swing a path vs battle through the weeds. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1505698052.553095.webp First target was super deep for me, took a few minutes but the target stayed sweet and small.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1505698126.426110.webp Anyone have some ideas for a copper approximately 35mm? Also found one of my nicer flat buttons.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1505698337.078891.webp Here is my hour in the field path.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1505698377.150805.webp Oh, forgot that archery season started yesterday, found this today, ouch...ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1505698430.968169.webp

Any ideas on the big coin appreciated or ideas to try and bring out some details. Thx!

I found one as well this week. So I am interested in what you find out

Could it be a half cent?

Getting an ID on that coin may be as hard as swinging a coil through those weeds. That field is gonna be tough even after the snow melt unless they go in there cut it or plow it.
