I have to partially give credit to the fact that it's new and I'm unfamiliar with it so dig more. However I've dug more flats since I got the Deus November 10th then I got all of last season. Majority have been in the 6-10" deep range after moving the 3" or so of leaves.
Here's a few from this week.

it loves rounds objects and low to mid conducters of course some flats sound like coins. your killing it man!

Flats? Flat buttons?

Yeah Flat Buttons.
It's like a magnet to them. I'm pulling them out of places that were thought to be swept clean.
Most that I got this month have been standing on end so I've been digging on barely a squeek and so far have been tricked by only the occasional cut nail. But only until I get the Sampson sized plug dug and then the signal moves which gives up what it is so I dig it up anyway.

flat buttons can be all over the place I dug a 30s signal in 12 kh the other day on a colonial site and out pops a flat button.

Your right I had one as low as 36 in 18 kHz. I thought slag or coke for sure and like you just wrote, another flat.
