Got in some headhunting today after alot of recent rain. Found some triangles, shell beads, and a Dalton?, which is thousands of years older than most of the Mississippian and Woodland stuff I typically find here. It was about 2 to 3 ft down in a drainage ditch. I found a bunch of brokes and flakes and unfortunately crushed shell beads as well.
The second area turned up some nice stuff after rain and a plowing. I found two pieces of unusual light blue chert that looks out of area imo, some scrapers and tools and a serrated , beveled knife.I got a couple in-situs but put the camera in the truck because it was on and off rain all day. HH
