Nice finds Robert. I am hitting my honey holes after the cold front comes through, Tuesday. I have my fruit baskets prepared for the land owners.

Mound builder are those from northern Ky along the River I am from Mammoth Cave Area lots of good points here too!!!

They are from the Licking River drainage about 70 miles south of the Ohio River.
 

Licking River Cave

Does anyone know of a cave along the Licking River near Harrison County Ky. ? It is said that it went under the river and was closed after the civil war.
 

That dark flint one is identical to one from Kentucky I just bought at auction. I paid about $30 for it and it was well worth twice that much. I am building into my personal collection for a new granddaughter. But the quality of that find is great!! Thanks for showing us that stuff in the ground, too. That is always exciting, because it is like you sharing the search with all of us.
