This afternoon I went to a field that has been bottom plowed. They planted peanuts over a week ago and we had over two inches of rain last week.
The first two pictures came from there. The last picture has one find from Tuesday and one from Monday, both from some land in another part of the county.

Americus you have not stopped finding points this year. You need to do a group 2009 shot. I think you have found more than anybody. Nice looking stuff.

You wouldn't believe what a good year I have had. It is the best spring of artifact hunting I have ever had. Part of this is because I have some land that has been bottom plowed and part of it is because Georgia has had the second wettest spring in 115 years. I keep my reasonably good finds in a plastic box (I keep the broken points elsewhere.). At the end of the year I put the finds in boxes by hunting areas. My reasonably good finds box for this year is already full. I've got to get another one. That's a good problem.
